The Lake Rescue Benefit Shootout is the largest unsanctioned boat race in the United States and has been listed by Powerboat Magazine as one of the 8 boating events that you see.  With speeds reaching 208 mph on a 1 mile drag, boats come from across the United States,Canda and Peru for the honor of Top Gun.  Last year over 30,000 spectators watched the event as Dave Callan and John Cosker from Callan Marine hit 208 mph.

The event has provided the water rescue teams of Osage Beach, Lake Ozark, Sunrise Beach and Gravois with much needed rescue equipment to be used on the Lake of the Ozarks.  The Lake Rescue Shootout would like to thanks all those who help make this event a success by racing, sponsorship, magazine ads and attendance.
